CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-485 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF STREET RESURFACING, PROJECT NO. 87-07B, <br /> AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO O. C. JONES & <br /> SONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, work by O. C. Jones & Sons on the street resurfacing, <br /> Project No. 87-07B, has been satisfactorily completed; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The work on the street resurfacing is hereby <br /> accepted. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $25,233.98 in favor of O. C. <br /> Jones & Sons in satisfaction of the final progress <br /> payment for the above-accepted work on Project No. <br /> 87-07B. Ten percent (10%) of the total contract or <br /> $15,096.14 will be retained until thirty (30) days after <br /> filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br /> Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 3, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> ATTEST: ~ ~ ~-~ ~-~ff__z <br /> NNETH R.
