PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY. CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2006-39 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF STEVE AND CAROL STANTON, THEREBY <br />UPHOLDING THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S APPROVAL OF AN <br />ADMINISTRATIVE DESIGN REVIEW, AS FILED UNDER CASE PAP-97 (PADR-1542) <br />WHEREAS, Steve and Carol Stanton have appealed the Zoning Administrator's approval of <br />Case PADR-1542, the application of Robert Sweeney Construction, on behalf of <br />Jim Rhoades, for administrative design review approval to construct an <br />approximately 1,224-square-foot second-floor addition and an approximately <br />120-square-foot first-floor addition to the front of the existing residence located at <br />3227 Anastacia Court; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-7,500 (Single-Family Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of July 26, 2006, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is consistent with <br />the appearance of the existing buildings in the area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Denies Case PAP-97, the appeal of Steve and Carol Stanton, thereby upholding <br />the Zoning Administrator's approval of Case PADR-1542, the application of <br />Robert Sweeney Construction, on behalf of Jim Rhoades, for administrative <br />design review approval to construct an approximately 1,224-square-foot <br />second-floor addition and an approximately 120-square-foot first-floor addition to <br />the front of the existing residence located at 3227 Anastacia Court, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit B, attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days afrer its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
