CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-475 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL FOR ADDITIONS AND <br /> MODIFICATIONS TO THE EXISTING CITY HALL AND THE FORMER <br /> SCHOOL DISTRICT HEADQUARTERS AT 123 MAIN STREET <br /> (Z-87-454) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, building modifications in the Civic Overlay District <br /> require City Council review and approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for design approval <br /> for modifications to the City Hall building at 200 Old <br /> Bernal Avenue and the former School District <br /> Headquarters located at 123 Main Street, including new <br /> windows, additional building area, and parking lot <br /> modifications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt from CEQA and no <br /> environmental assessment is necessary; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 20, 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the project is consistent <br /> with the requirements of the Civic Overlay District and <br /> the General Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the proposed modifications to the City Hall <br /> building and the former school district offices at 123 <br /> Main Street subject to the condition that the project <br /> shall be substantially as shown on the plans on file <br /> with the Planning Department, dated October 6, 1987. <br /> (Z-87-454) <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
