CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-472 <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZATION OF QUITCLAIM DEEDS FROM CITY TO BART AND <br /> STONERIDGE CORPORATE CENTER I FOR PRIVATE PARK EASEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Stoneridge Corporate Center was to provide for a small <br /> park in conjunction with its development and the <br /> property was conveyed to the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 20, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities (SR 87:472) indicating the necessity of <br /> quitclaiming property back to the developer in order to <br /> provided for additional park area for the proposed BART <br /> facility; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Mayor of the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br /> authorized to execute a quitclaim deed from the City of <br /> Pleasanton to San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit <br /> District and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said conveyance. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor of the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br /> authorized to execute a quitclaim deed from the City of <br /> Pleasanton to Stoneridge Corporate Center I for purposes <br /> of a private park and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said conveyance. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 20, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> KENNETH R.
