SEMINARS <br /> <br />Seminars are provided at your worksite. Presentations can be <br />made three times to accomodate all Battalions. A variety of <br />topics are available. Handouts are included and the presentation <br />would incorporate information specifically focused on the need <br />of firefighters. All seminars are one hour in length unless <br />otherwise noted. <br /> <br />MANDATORY SEMINARS: <br /> <br /> - Prevention and Care of Low Back Injuries (2 one-hour seminars) <br /> - Optimal Nutrition <br /> - Demonstration of Safe and Effective Exercise (stretching <br /> aerobics, weight lifting) <br /> <br />OPTIONAL SEMINARS: <br /> <br /> - Creative Ideas for Meals <br /> - Weight Management <br /> - Mini-Nutrition Consultation Follow-Up <br /> - Coast to Coast Motivational Contest (T-shirts, prizes = 3 seminars) <br /> - Ergonomic Analysis (2 seminar hours) <br /> <br />COST: $100 per lecture hour <br /> <br /> <br />
