CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-465 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF RAILROAD CONSOLIDATION PROJECT, PROJECT <br /> NO. 84-07, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO O. <br /> C. JONES & SON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, work by O. C. Jones & Son on the railroad consolidation, <br /> Project No. 84-07, has been satisfactorily completed; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The work on the railroad consolidation project is <br /> hereby accepted. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $9,810.64 in favor of in <br /> satisfaction of the final progress payment for the <br /> above-accepted work on Project No. 84-07. Five percent <br /> (5%) of the total contract or $267,526.85 will be <br /> retained until thirty (30) days after filing of the <br /> Notice of Completion. <br /> <br /> Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 20, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> ABSTAIN: None /~~ <br /> ATTEST: ~ _ <br /> KEN~ETWR~ MERCER, MAYOR <br /> <br /> ames R.
