PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-65 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR JEANETTE <br />WESTBROOK AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-88-4 <br />WHEREAS, Jeanette Westbrook has applied to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan from Low Density <br />Residential to Medium Density Residential for an <br />approximately 14 acre site located on the north side of <br />Old Dublin Canyon Road generally in the area <br />approximately 5,000 feet west of the intersection of <br />Foothill Road and Old Dublin Canyon Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 8, 1988, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case <br />GP-88-4; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated June 2, 1988 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held June 8, 1988 at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for <br />the application of Jeanette Westbrook to amend the Land <br />Use Element designation of the General Plan from Low <br />Density Residential to Medium density Residential for an <br />approximately 14 acre site located on the north side of <br />Old Dublin Canyon Road generally in the area <br />approximately 5,000 feet west of the intersection of <br />Foothill Road and Old Dublin Canyon Road.. <br />
