PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-66 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF CASE GP-88-4, <br />APPLICATION OF JEANETTE WESTBROOK FOR A GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT <br />WHEREAS, Jeanette Westbrook has applied to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan from Low Density <br />Residential to Medium Density Residential for an <br />approximately 14 acre site located on the north side of <br />Old Dublin Canyon Road generally in the area <br />approximately 5,000 feet west of the intersection of <br />Foothill Road and Old Dublin Canyon Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 8, 1988, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds this proposal to be not a <br />proper land use designation for the site. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Denies the application of Jeanette Westbrook to amend <br />the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan <br />from Low Density Residential to Medium Density <br />Residential for an approximately 14 acre site located on <br />the north side of Old Dublin Canyon Road generally in <br />the area approximately 5,000 feet west of the <br />intersection of Foothill Road and Old Dublin Canyon <br />Road. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective <br />immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED IMMEDIATELY UPON ITS PASSAGE AND ADOPTION <br />BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Mahern, Tarver, and Chairman <br />Michelotti <br />NOES: Commissioner Berger <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
