PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-69 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF CASE GP-88-3, <br />APPLICATION OF THE PLEASANTON JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Joint School District to amend the Land <br />Use Element designation of the General Plan from Public <br />and Institutional to Medium density Residential and <br />Commercial and Offices for an approximately 4 acre site <br />on the east side of First Street between Abbie Street <br />and Bernal Avenue <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 8, 1988, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed General <br />Plan amendment is not consistent with the goals and <br />policies of the General Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />Section 1. Denies the Case GP-88-3, the application of the <br />Pleasanton Joint School District to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan from Public and <br />Institutional to Medium Density Residential and <br />Commercial and Offices for an approximately 4 acre site <br />on the east side of First Street, between Abbie Street <br />and Bernal Avenue. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective <br />immediately upon its passage and adoption.. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 8TH DAY OF JUNE 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Mahern, Tarver, and Chairman <br />Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST <br />~~ ryi~%~ <br />Brian W.
