PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-71 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING APPROVAL OF AN EXTERIOR COLOR SCHME <br />FOR JOHN KARLESKIND, JR. AT 4 DEER OAKS DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, staff reviewed the color scheme proposed by John <br />Karleskind, Jr. in accordance with the conditions shown <br />in the ordinance approving the Planned Unit Development <br />for the Deer Oaks residential subdivision; and <br />WHEREAS, staff did not feel the color scheme proposed conforms to <br />the requirements of the Ordinance, therefore, requested <br />Mr. Karleskind to submit a color scheme meeting the <br />"unobtrusive, earth tone" requirement for this project; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Karleskind, Jr. appealed this decision of denial to <br />the Planning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 8, 1988, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the submitted color scheme <br />does not meet the "unobtrusive, earth tone" requirement <br />of the ordinance approving the Deer Oaks subdivision. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Determines that the proposed exterior color scheme <br />presented by Mr. John Karleskind, Jr. does not comply <br />with the purposes of the PUD Ordinance governing the <br />Deer Oaks subdivision and denies the request of Mr. <br />Karleskind. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
