PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-88-86 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE Z-88-312, <br />APPLICATION OF TONY P. ROVAI <br />WHEREAS, Tony P. Rovai applied for design review approval for <br />exterior alterations to an existing commercial structure <br />located at 243 Main Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is CC (Central Commercial) - <br />Civic Overlay District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 10, 1988, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA). Therefore, no environmental document <br />accompanies this report. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case Z-88-312, application of <br />Tony P. Rovai for design review approval for exterior <br />alterations to an existing commercial structure <br />located at 243 Main Street subject to the following <br />conditions of approval: <br />1. That the project shall be substantially as shown <br />on the site plan, and elevations, Exhibit A <br />(dated August 5, 1988), on file with the Planning <br />Department. <br />2. That no signs are approved with this application <br />and that the applicant shall submit any proposed <br />signage for final approval by the Design Review <br />Board prior to installation. <br />3. That the applicant shall relocate the small <br />conifer tree in front of the building to the <br />remaining open landscape area or replace it with <br />another appropriate species to be approved by the <br />Planning Director. <br />4. That the applicant shall apply for, and be <br />granted, all necessary City permits prior to <br />construction of the project. <br />
