PLANNING <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-88-93 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-81-30-44D <br />(PUD-85-S-5M/PUD-85-8-3D REV), THE APPLICATION OF <br />CALLAHAN PROPERTY COMPANY <br />WHEREAS, Callahan Property Company has applied for a major <br />modification to an approved development plan for <br />Hacienda Business Park to change the land use <br />regulations from the Mid-Rise Planning District to the <br />Research and Development/Light Manufacturing Planning <br />District and for design review approval to construct a <br />two-story, approximately 56,000 square foot building for <br />office/light industrial uses to be located on an <br />approximately 7.8 acre site, located on the west side of <br />Willow Road opposite the intersection of Baker Drive and <br />Willow Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 10, 1988, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found this proposal to be in <br />conformance with the General Plan of the City of <br />Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found this proposal to be <br />consistent with the Hacienda Business Park zoning and <br />development plan approval; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br />rezoning of the Hacienda Business Park and a project of <br />this type was included within the scope of the EIR and, <br />therefore, this application is not considered to be a <br />new project under the California Environmental Quality <br />Act (CEQA); and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the application of Callahan <br />Property Company for a major modification to an <br />approved development plan for Hacienda Business Park <br />to change the land use regulations from the Mid-Rise <br />Planning District to the Research and <br />Development/Light Manufacturing Planning District and <br />for design review approval to construct a two-story, <br />approximately 56,000 square foot building for <br />office/light industrial uses to be located on an <br />
