PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-88-96 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF SOROPTIMIST <br />INTERNATIONAL OF PLEASANTON, INC. "STEPPING OUT" <br />WHEREAS, Corrine Mavridis on behalf of Soroptimist International <br />of Pleasanton, Inc. requests approval to name a new <br />street in Pleasanton to the highest bidder in a silent <br />auction October 22, 1988; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August l0, 1988, <br />the Planning Commission considered the request of <br />Corrine Mavridis; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission is in support of "The Center" <br />and Kaleidoscope" and desires to participate in the <br />promotion of their good works. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves the request of Corrine Mavridis on behalf of <br />Soroptimist International of Pleasanton, Inc. to <br />name a new street in Pleasanton to the highest bidder <br />in a silent auction October 22, 1988. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 10TH DAY OF AUGUST 1988 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hovingh, Mahern, Tarver, and <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
