City of Pleasanton <br />Park and Recreation Commission DRAFT <br />Resolution 88-18 <br />WHEREAS: the Park and Recreation Commission reviewed PUD-85-15- <br />2D, Golden Eagle Farms, to evaluate the seven acre <br />park, one acre access road and four plus acre easement <br />as proposed, and <br />WHEREAS: the seven acre park (staging area to Augustin Bernal <br />Park), the one acre access road and four plus acre <br />easement (50' easement on each side of the one acre <br />access road) were found to be acceptable, and <br />WHEREAS: an emergency access road is proposed from Court C <br />through Lot B to the upper Castlewood area, and <br />WHEREAS: aligning the emergency road to compliment the proposed <br />park road will benefit the esthetic value of the park, <br />and <br />WHEREAS: the proposed water tank site blocks the view to Mt. <br />Diablo for park users, and <br />WHEREAS: siting the proposed water tank out of the primary park <br />view shed will be of considerable benefit to the <br />park. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />The Park and Recreation Commission approves for acceptance the <br />seven plus acre park, the one acre access road and four plus <br />acre easement as proposed in PUD-85-15-2D subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. An alternate site that does not seriously impact the <br />park view shed be selected for the water tank, as <br />determined by the Director of Parks and Community <br />Services; <br />2. The emergency access road from Court C through Lot B <br />to upper Castlewood be located to compliment the park, <br />as determined by the Director of Parks and Community <br />Services. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 8, 1988, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Cooper, Fields, Krahnke, Oliverius & McKeon <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: <br />Dolores Bengtson, Secretary <br />A.
