PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-120 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-80-16-3 D, <br />APPLICATION OF PACTEL <br />WHEREAS, Pactel Properties has applied for development plan <br />approval to construct a multi-building, approximately <br />103,160 square foot retail commercial complex to be <br />located on an approximately 9.75 acre site generally in <br />thl~ area bounded by Hopyard Road, Stoneridge Drive, <br />Franklin Drive, and Johnson Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 9, <br />1988, the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the development plan <br />is consistent with the General Plan and the purposes of <br />the PUD Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration was prepared for the original <br />Meyer Center project approval. The land use <br />modification proposed minor. Architectural and site <br />design for the subject property was included within the <br />scope of that assessment. Therefore, this application <br />is not considered to be a new project under the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and no <br />additional environmental document accompanies this <br />proposal. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-80-16-3D, the <br />application of Pactel Properties for development plan <br />approval to construct a multi-building, approximately <br />103,160 square foot retail commercial complex to be <br />located on an approximately 9.75 acre site generally in <br />the area bounded by Hopyard Road, Stoneridge Drive, <br />Franklin Drive, and Johnson Drive subject to the <br />conditions shown on Exhibit "B" attached hereto and <br />made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
