PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-124 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING A USE PERMIT FOR STANLEY PARTNERS AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE UP-88-54 <br />WHEREAS, Stanley Partners has applied for a conditional use <br />permit to operate a supermarket on the site of a <br />proposed shopping center located on the north side of <br />Stanley Boulevard between First Street and Valley <br />Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial and Offices District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 22, <br />1988, the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was unable to make the findings <br />required to grant approval of the conditional use permit <br />application herein described. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Denies approval of Case UP-88-54, the application of <br />Stanley Partners for a conditional use permit to operate <br />a supermarket on the site of a proposed shopping center <br />located on the north side of Stanley Boulevard between <br />First Street and Valley Avenue. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective <br />15 days after its passage and adoption.. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON THE 22ND DAY OF NOVEMBER 1988 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hovingh, Mahern, Tarver, and Chairman <br />Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Berger, and Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
