PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-127 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE GP-88-7, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE HOUSING ELEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Housing Element of the General Plan to require each residential project to include its prorata share, of low- and moderate-income housing needs or to contribute an in- lieu fee, or to make any other revision deemed in the public interest; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 22, 1988, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Case GP-88-7; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated November 15, 1988, and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held November 22, 1988 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case GP-88-7, application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Housing Element of the General Plan to require each residential project to include its prorata share, of low- and moderate-income housing needs or to contribute an in-lieu fee, or to make any other revision deemed in the public interest.
