PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-128 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE GP-88-7, <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE <br />HOUSING ELEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Housing <br />Element of the General Plan to require each residential <br />project to include its prorata share, of low- and <br />moderate-income housing needs or to contribute an in- <br />lieu fee, or to make any other revision deemed in the <br />public interest; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 22, 1988, the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of a negative <br />declaration for Case GP-88-7 after considering all <br />public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations <br />of the City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed General <br />Plan amendment is consistent with the goals and policies <br />of the General Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of Case GP-88-7, application of <br />the City of Pleasanton to amend the Housing Element of <br />the General Plan to require each residential project to <br />include its prorata share, of low- and moderate-income <br />housing needs or to contribute an in-lieu fee by <br />amending Policy 11 to read as follows: <br />"Require each residential project to include its prorata <br />share, as defined in Table IV-6, of low-income housing <br />needs or to contribute an in-lieu fee to the low- <br />incoming housing fund to facilitate the construction of <br />low-income housing." <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE 22ND DAY OF NOVEMBER 1988 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />
