CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-436 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO EXPERT BUILDING <br /> MAINTENANCE AND LANDSCAPE SERVICE, INC. FOR LANDSCAPE <br /> MAINTENANCE IN LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT 1984-1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared specifications for annual maintenance <br /> of common landscape areas within Landscape Maintenance <br /> District 1984-1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., the <br /> City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br /> regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on October 6, <br /> 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Expert Building Maintenance and Landscape <br /> Service, in the amount of $11,450.00 was determined to <br /> be the lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of Expert Building Maintenance and <br /> Landscape Service be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Expert Building Maintenance and Landscape <br /> Service, in the amount of $11,450.00, for maintenance of <br /> Landscape Maintenance District 1984-1, is hereby <br /> accepted by the City Council as the lowest responsible <br /> bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with <br /> Expert Building Maintenance and Landscape Service for <br /> the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
