13. <br />Ordinance <br />Public Hearing: PUD-65, Kavayiotidis/Petra Realty Investors, Inc. – Introduced <br />No. 1958 <br /> approving an application for Planned Unit Development rezoning and <br />development plan to construct a 21,795-square-foot two-story office building at 5980 and <br />5998 Sunol Boulevard. Zoning for the property at 5980 Sunol Boulevard is PUD-O <br />(Planned Unit Development – Office), and the 5998 Sunol Boulevard property would also <br />be rezoned from the O (Office) District to the PUD-O (Planned Unit Development – Office) <br />District; and adopted Resolution No. 07-145 approving a Negative Declaration prepared <br />for the project <br /> <br />14. <br />Ordinance No. 1956 <br />Waived second reading and adopted approving an application for a <br />major modification to the Ruby Hill PUD development plan as filed under case PUD-93-02- <br />09M <br /> <br />Public Works <br /> <br />15. <br />Approved plans and specifications, reviewed bids, authorized the City Manager to execute <br />a construction contract to DeSilva Gates Construction in the amount of $1,777,687 for <br />Resurfacing of Various City Streets, CIP No. 075003; authorized the Director of Public <br />Works to approve and execute contract change orders for a contingency amount not to <br />exceed $266,600 for necessary related project work and the transfer of the balance of <br />$436,151.70 from CIP No. 065003 (Resurfacing of Various City Streets) to Project No. <br />075003, this includes $367,000 of scheduled federal grant money <br /> <br />16. <br />Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a reimbursement agreement with <br />Applied Biosystems for Infrastructure constructed beyond its Sunol Boulevard Frontage <br /> <br />17. <br />Approved Contract Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $65,000 for Annual Curb and <br />Gutter Replacement, Project No. 065009 and authorized the transfer of $65,000 from CIP <br />No. 075003 (Annual Resurfacing of Various Streets) to Curb and Gutter CIP No. 065009 <br /> <br />18. <br />Pulled for discussion <br />– Introduce an ordinance amending Title 11, Chapter 11.20, <br />Section 11.20.010 of the Municipal Code for setting a speed limit of 45 MPH on Vineyard <br />Avenue between Pietronave Lane and Machado Place <br /> <br />Resolution No. 07-146 <br />18a. Adopted authorizing an application with the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission (MTC) for $50,000 in Transportation Development Act (TDA) <br />Article 3 Funds for the Valley Avenue Bicycle Gap Closure Project <br /> <br />Motion: It was m/s by Thorne/Cook-Kallio to approve Consent Items 1 – 3, 5 – 17, and 18a <br />as submitted and noted.
