Chairperson Fox asked about mentioning groundwater recharge at Lake I. <br /> <br />Page 14-9 <br />Commissioner Narum thought the City had we a master plan for planned trails called the <br />Community Trails Master Plan. <br /> <br />Ms. Stern replied that the City has a Downtown Trails Master Plan and a community <br />trails map. She stated that staff will correct the text to reference the Community Trails <br />Master Plan. <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox inquired whether a temporary trail alignment had been approved for the <br />Iron Horse Trail. She thought there was a street/sidewalk alignment as well as the <br />permanent one that went through Hacienda. <br /> <br />Ms. Stern stated that she would look into that. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Connor indicated a typographical error on line two, Ironhorse trail. <br /> <br />Page 14-10 <br />There were none. <br /> <br />Page 14-11 <br />Chairperson Fox inquired if the Asphalt Plant and air quality in Alameda County should <br />be mentioned. It is located right outside of town and is still an air quality issue. <br /> <br />Page 14-12 <br />Commissioner Olson believed that affordable housing should be linked with this section <br />and noted that the Tri-Valley Business Council referenced that conclusion as well. <br /> <br />Commissioner Blank believed the link between affordable housing and economic <br />development could be alluded to in this section and placed in the Goals section. <br /> <br />Chairperson Fox agreed and then inquired whether the urban habitat and the settlement <br />over litigation of the Altamonte Landfill should be mentioned. She wants to mention <br />current litigation as well. <br /> <br />Commissioner Blank noted that he would not support discussing current litigation <br />because the resolution is not yet known. <br /> <br />Page 14-13 <br />Commissioner Olson inquired why the paragraph regarding tax revenues at the bottom of <br />the page was removed and if other jurisdictions also made the same decision. Ms. Stern <br />replied that none of the other jurisdictions included it in their General Plans; Pleasanton <br />was the only one and sharing the revenues is not something that the City is currently <br />contemplating.
