_ 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />a. January 24, 2007 <br />Commissioner O'Connor noted that the first sentence of the second paragraph on page 20 should <br />be modified to read as follows: "Commissioner ^~rBlank noted that from reading the <br />1999 Plan..." <br />Chairperson Fox noted that the first sentence of the first full paragraph on page 2 should be <br />modified to read as follows: "Chairperson Fox moved to combine the minutes prepared by staff <br />with the text she provided from listening to the tape, excluding the duplicate language contained <br />in the staff report." <br />Chairperson Fox noted that the sentence on the seventh full paragraph on page 2 should be <br />modified to read as follows: "Chairperson Fox made a substitute motion that the section of the <br />minutes relating to the Saint Elizabeth Seton Church item prepared by staff be substituted with <br />the document that she prepazed, with the condition that staff check the document again for <br />accuracy before publishing that section within the tket~ras-final minutes." <br />Chairperson Fox noted a typographical error on the last line of the seventh full paragraph on <br />page 2 and requested that the correction be made as follows: "Commissioner Olson seconded <br />the motion." <br />Chairperson Fox noted that the motion on page 5 be modified to read as follows: "Chairperson <br />Fox moved to propose a resolution that the Planning Commission commend Commissioner <br />O'Connor for his dedication, hard work, diligence, and working in a detailed manner and <br />participating as a full-time member on all items heard by the Commission since the resignation <br />of former Chairperson Arkin in September 2006." <br />Ms. Decker noted that she did not recall that specific language, and that staff would check the <br />exact wording on the written commendation. <br />In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Blank regazding the disposition of that <br />commendation by the City Council, Ms. Decker confirmed that it was sent to the <br />Councilmembers with their correspondence. <br />Chairperson Fox noted that the first sentence of the fifth paragraph on page 9 should be modified <br />to read as follows: "Chairperson Fox advised that she had concerns about the licensing, noting <br />the letter regarding a maximum of 15 hours per week from the previous drop-in child care <br />center." <br />Chairperson Fox requested that the first sentence of the seventh paragraph on page 12 should be <br />modified to read as follows: "In response to an inquiry by Chairperson Fox regarding whether <br />the bioswale next to Golden Road could be walked upon..." <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES February 14, 2007 Page 11 of 14 <br />
