CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-429 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CALLING FOR BIDS FOR A <br /> REPLACEMENT FIRE ENGINE AND RELATED EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Chief, by his report (SR 87:425), advised the <br /> City Council of the necessity for replacement of a fire <br /> engine and that specifications had been prepared and <br /> reviewed by staff; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 6, 1987, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Fire Chief relating to the <br /> equipment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the specifications for the replacement fire <br /> engine and related equipment. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Authorizes the calling of bids for the above <br /> equipment. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 6, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None ~~ <br /> ATTEST: <br />/._ ~ KENNETH R.
