CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-420 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BID AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO THE VALLEY TIMES <br /> FOR LEGAL PUBLICATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of "The Valley Times" as the only newspaper of <br /> general circulation was reviewed by the City Council on <br /> September 15, 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Assistant to the City Manager recommended that the <br /> bid of "The Valley Times" be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of "The Valley Times" for legal publications <br /> is hereby accepted by the City Council as the lowest <br /> responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with <br /> for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 15, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None ; <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> R <br /> K R <br /> <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> : <br /> <br /> Peter D.
