MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Mayor Hosterman requested clarification on the process that a neighborhood could <br />initiate in order to consider the Vineyard Avenue project. <br /> <br />Mayor Hosterman suggested that the issue related to pets and cigarettes in the parks be <br />forwarded to the Parks and Recreation Commission. Council concurred with this direction. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sullivan requested the matter of Measure D regulations pertaining to the <br />proposed Sunol compost facility be researched by staff and presented at the May 16 City <br />Council meeting. Assistant City Attorney Larissa Seto clarified the request. Council concurred <br />with this request, with emphasis that the letter focus on the interpretation of Measure D, not on <br />the proposed compost facility. <br /> <br />8.
