The more affordable units the City gains the more the $17 million figure <br />decreases. <br /> <br />As part of the General Plan update process, Mr. Brozosky asked staff to provide a matrix <br />that would illustrate the amount of fees collected based upon the different decisions Council <br />makes. <br /> <br />Mr. Fialho noted that staff planned to have the Land Use discussion on April 11. Staff <br />wanted to provide and frame for Council the lay of the land as it related to the arena numbers. <br />The initial staff report included a discussion regarding the Affordable Housing Fee. Staff has <br />bifurcated this report and scheduled the Affordable Housing Fee discussion for Council's <br />second meeting in April. He recommended canceling the April 11 joint Council/Planning <br />Commission workshop and instead, hold a discussion first about the Affordable Housing Fee <br />Expenditure Plan as proposed by the Housing Commission that would help frame the issue for <br />Council. This discussion could be held on April 18 followed by a joint CounciVPlanning <br />Commission General Plan session for late April or early May. <br /> <br />Council agreed with Mr. Fialho's proposal. <br /> <br />Ms. McGovern recalled that staff was working on a Tri-Valley Affordable Housing <br />Authority matrix, which included inclusionary housing fees of all the different cities, and a <br />stratified look at what is occurring in the Region. She asked staff to provide Council with a copy <br />of this matrix. <br /> <br />There was no action taken.
