Cheri Puis, a Pleasanton resident, thanked Council for its involvement in the project and
believed this was an excellent plan. She asked Council to approve the plan, authorize the
public bidding and not make any premature decisions on the scope of work or capping the
budget for the project.

Mayor Hosterman closed the public comments.

It was moved by Mr. Brozosky, seconded by Mr. Sullivan, to approve the Kottinger
Creek Restoration project, to publicly bid the project, to hold neighborhood meetings
with residents downstream to discuss the scope of the project, and to return a funding
plan to Council after receipt of bids.

Mr. Sullivan stated he supported the project and believed the flood issues have been
addressed. He further stated he did not want the project delayed but the options relating to the
bridges may need to be reviewed.

The roll call vote was taken as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Brozosky, Sullivan, Thorne, and Mayor Hosterman
NOES: None
ABSENT: McGovern
ABSTAINED: None

There was a break at 9:45 p.m.

The meeting reconvened at 9:54 p.m.

6c
ODtions for Citv-SuDDorted "Photovoltaic Project" Activities.
