<br />There was Council support to direct staff to provide an updated report to Council <br />regarding the contamination of ground well water in the Happy Valley area and to include the <br />possibility of annexing properties within the Happy Valley area for connection to the City's sewer <br />and water system. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky mentioned at Council's November 1 meeting, it discussed whether the <br />language contained in Measure X stated the Master Plan for the approximately 50-acre <br />Community Park is to be determined by using a fast-track public process. Staff has informed <br />Council that this was not the exact wording for Measure X. He asked if the Master Plan was <br />only for the sports fields or the total Community Park, which included the arts facilities? <br /> <br />Mr. Fialho said the Master Plan included the entire Community Park with the exception <br />of the Cultural Arts Center and it included the sports fields and how the Community Center and <br />the Youth Center interrelates with the sports fields. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky asked if the Youth Center was inside the Community Park? <br /> <br />Mr. Fialho said yes. <br /> <br />Mr. Brozosky mentioned that a dedication was held on Veterans Day for a new flag box <br />drop-off at the Veterans Plaza Park on Peters Street. This drop-off box is available for <br />members of the community to drop Qf and retire their old flags, which are retired with respect by <br />the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW),. He thanked Boyscout Troop 998 for this project. <br /> <br />8. COUNCIL COMMITTEE REAORTS <br /> <br />There were none. <br /> <br />9. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />The Closed Session was held prior to the meeting. <br /> <br />10.
