<br /> MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> JOINT MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL <br /> & <br /> PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> SEPTEMBER 19, 2005 <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> The joint meeting of the Dublin City Council and Pleasanton City Council was <br />called to order by Pleasanton Vice Mayor Steve Brozosky at 4:34 p.m. <br />2. COUNCIL MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE <br /> Dublin Councilmembers present were Claudia McCormick, Tony Oravetz, Kasie <br />Hildenbrand, George Zika, and Mayor Janet Lockhart. Pleasanton Councilmembers <br />present were Steve Brozosky, Cindy McGovem, Matt Sullivan, and Jerry Thorne. <br />Pleasanton staff members present were: Nelson Fialho, City Manager; Michael Roush, <br />City Attorney; Dawn Abrahamson, City Clerk; and Jerry Iserson, Director of Planning <br />and Community Development. Dublin staff members present were: Richard Ambrose, <br />City Manager. <br /> Pleasanton Mayor Jennifer Hosterman arrived at 5:08 p.m. <br />3. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - none. <br />4. WEST DUBLlN/PLEASANTON BART STATION. <br /> Jerry Iserson, Director of Planning and Community Development for the City of <br />Pleasanton, presented a brief report and background. This matter was previously <br />discussed by the City Council and the Pleasanton-Dublin Liaison Committee in June- <br />August of 2003. More recently, staff members from both cities met with BART and its <br />development team in early August 2005 to receive a presentation on the project. On <br />August 25, 2005, BART and its development team presented the proposed project to <br />the Pleasanton-Dublin Liaison Committee. The presentation and discussion that <br />followed focused on design and parking. Two design options were presented, and the <br />unanimous recommendation of the Committee was to support Scheme B. He noted <br />that there is a financial and fiscal component to this project; a discussion of the new <br />financial proposal will be addressed at a later date. <br />Joint PleasantonlDublin City Council 1 09/19/05 <br />Minutes <br />
