The
Cities of Livermore and Dublin have real concerns about the impact to their communities should
the Stoneridge Drive extension to El Charro Road and the West Las Positas Interchange be
eliminated. These cities wanted an opportunity to understand the implications and to have a
collective discussion on how to move forward with improvements in each individual community
without severoly impacting one another. She promised both Livermore and Dublin that the City
of Pleasanton would be willing to discuss and be open about what its plans are for the future in
order to work together to keep traffic moving between and amongst our communities. Based
upon today's discussion with TAC and PAC representatives from Dublin and Livermore, she is
_ recommending that the City of Pleasanton move forward and continue with the process so long
as the Stoneridge Drive extension to El Charro Road and the West Las Positas Interchange at 1-
680 are not part of the regional modeling effort.

Pleasanton City Council 23 05/17/05
Minutes
