Ms. McGovem pointed out that this information would be provided to Council when it is close
to making a last decision on what would be provided to the public to vote on. She would like more
discussion prior to making a decision. She is upset with the fact that there are 34 tennis courts in the
community and not ail of the courts are available to the public, particularly when the public paid for
these courts. She wanted to be prepared to address these issue now as opposed to later.

Mr. Fialho noted that there, is one meeting between now and when Council considers this
matter jointly with the Parks and Recreation Commission. Staff can cimulate an internal memo that
frames all of the issues.

Mr. Brozosky asked if this report could be made available to the public.

Mr. Fialho said yes.

Mr. Sullivan asked if Council was making the final decision as to the five site plan alternatives
for the 318-acre City-owned portion of the Bernal property and two alternatives for the future Bernal
Community Park?

Mr. Fialho said the purpose of the joint meeting is for Council to hear the input from all of the
various Commissions and provide additional direction to staff. The final recommendations will be
presented to Council at a subsequent meeting.

Ms. McGovern asked how much time she had to work on the issue of lighted tennis courts?

Mr. Fiaiho said Council had approximately two months to work on the matter before it had to
-- make a decision.

8.
