__ cost of this study will increase and each city has agreed to pay its share. The timeline <br /> for this process will be nine months to one year. She mentioned that the Congestion <br /> Management Agency (CMA) has approved a request for federal transportation funds for <br /> the 1-580 corridor and the southbound 1-680 HOV lane. CMA was looking for support <br /> from the Committee. The Committee was willing to support funding for the 1-580 corridor <br /> as it affects all three Tri-Valley cities; however, the southbound 1-680 HeY lane was <br /> outside of the scope of the Committee's study. <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovern provided a brief report on the recent Tri-Valley Transportation <br /> Council (TVTC) meeting. She noted that TVTC is considering using the Contra Costa <br /> Transportation Authority's traffic model for conducting a fee nexus and looking at what <br /> type of fee might be charged for infrastructure from new developments. TV'TC was <br /> interested in the Triangle Study and the fact that the Triangle Study Committee was <br /> considering using the Contra Costa Transportation Authority's traffic model. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky provided an update on the recent League of California Cities <br /> Employee Relations Policy Committee and Transportation, Communication and Public <br /> Works Policy Committee meetings. <br /> <br /> 9. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Council adjourned to a closed session at 12:12 a.m. to continue discussion with <br /> legal counsel concerning claims of the FERMA Corporation - Callippe Preserve Golf <br /> Course. <br /> <br /> 10.
