4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> As it pertained to agenda item 4b, Ms. McGovern, asked which hourly rate <br /> schedule for the contract with Kier & Wdght Civil Engineers Surveyors, Inc. was Council <br /> approving this evening? <br /> <br /> Mr. Fialho said Council would be approving both hourly rate schedules. <br /> Depending upon the project, staff might award the ongoing need for on-call land <br /> surveying and associated computer drafting services to either Kier & Wright Civil <br /> Engineers Surveyors Inc. or Bellecci & Associates. <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovern pointed out that Kier & Wright's hourly rate schedules reflected <br /> different hourly rates. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fialho noted that the first hourly rate schedule will be effective Mamh 1, 2005 <br /> through February 28, 2006, and the second hourly rate schedule is effective as of Mamh <br /> 1,2004 through February 28, 2005. <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovern asked if staff would use the consultant services of the firm that <br /> was the least expensive. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fialho said that staff would typically choose the firm with the lowest rates. <br /> <br /> As it pertained to agenda item 4h, Ms. McGovern wanted to ensure that the <br /> Conditions of Approval included the requirement that the project developer shall disclose <br /> to all potential lot/home purchasers the odor and illumination caused by the asphalt <br /> batch plant. She pointed out that Council added this as a condition for approving the <br /> application of R.J. Wilson/Delco Builders for PUD Development Plan approval, as filed <br /> under Case PUD-40. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush said that staff would include this requirement in the Conditions of <br /> Approval. <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovern reemphasized the need for the Conditions of Approval to contain <br /> the disclosure information when Council adopted Ordinance 1913. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Sullivan, seconded by Ma. McGovern, that the <br /> following actions under the Consent Calendar be taken, with the inclusion that <br /> Ordinance 1913 include the addition of requiring the project developer to disclose <br /> to all potential lot/home purchasers the odor illumination caused by the asphalt <br /> batch plant to Exhibit B, the Conditions of Approval. <br /> <br />a. Approved the minutes of the City Council meeting of 01/04/05. <br /> <br /> b. Approved consultant contracts for on-call surveying and computer drafting <br /> services with the firms of Kier & Wright Civil Engineers Surveyors, Inc. and <br /> Bellecci & Associates, Inc.
