2. ROLLCALL City Clerk Dawn Abrahamson called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Steve Brozosky, Matt Campbell, Jennifer Hosterman, and Mayor Tom Pico. Staff members present were: Deborah McKeehan, City Manager; Michael Roush, City Attorney; Steven Boeian, Deputy City Manager; Nelson Fialho, Deputy City Manager; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Rob Wilson, Director of Public Works; Julie Farnsworth, Director of Library Services; Tim Neil, Police Chief; and Sue Rossi, Director of Finance. 3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Ms. McKeehan noted that staff was continuing item 4r, appointment to Livermore Airport Committee, to June 15. Agenda item 4d, commendation to Glenda Garcia as School Crossing Guard of the Year, should be added as a presentation to item 5, Meeting Open to the Public. 4. CONSENT CALENDAR Councilmember Brozosky requested that items 4i and 4j be removed from the Consent Calendar. With respect to agenda item 4j, Ms. Hosterman said that she wanted to pursue discussion to add a line item to the City's budget to use the refund from ABAG to fund energy efficiency programs in Pleasanton. She would like the Pleasanton Energy Committee to find a way to fund these programs. It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Mr. Brozosky, that the following actions under the Consent Calendar be taken: a. Approved the Minutes of the City Council meeting of 4/6/04. bo Approved monthly disbursements, Investment Report, and COPS AB 3229 Expenditure Reports for April 2004. (SR 04:131) Approved actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. (IR 04:034) d. Commended Glenda Garcia as School Crossing Guard of the Year. e. Proclaimed June 5-13, 2004 as Affordable Housing Week in Pleasanton. Accepted update on the BMX project at Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area, CIP 017036 (IR 04:033) g.
