(SR 03:141) <br /> <br />Mayor Pico requested that this item be continued to the next meeting. <br /> <br />Michael Harlan, Greenbriar Homes, asked what the issues were so he could relay the <br />information to his home office. <br /> <br />Mayor Pico wanted to review the product and density of this project. Several <br />Councilmembers have expressed their opinion that developers are not building the right <br />product for what the people in Pleasanton need. Before the project goes too far, he <br />wanted further discussion. He did not like the size of the houses in this project. <br /> <br />Amendment to the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding the role of liaison <br />commissioners and establishing operating roles and procedures for City commissions. <br />(SR 03:143) <br />This item was continued to the next meeting by staff. <br /> <br />Commended Operation: Welcome Home! <br /> <br />Lmry Tucker, 3510 Dickens Court, Chair of the Operation: Welcome Home Committee, <br />noted all the various organizations that are participating in this event. This is truly a Tri- <br />Valley event and he asked for support from the cities in the area. He briefly described the <br />event including a parade and picnic. He requested support in the form of security patrol <br />by off-duty policemen, public relations, donation of the use of sound equipment, and a <br />$500 contribution. <br /> <br />Proclaimed May 23-25, 2003 as "Golden State Round-up Days" in Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Approved plans and specifications for resurfacing of various City streets, Project No. <br />025003RF; reviewed the bids and awarded the contract for the project to Bay Cities <br />Paving & Grading, Inc.; authorized the City Manager to enter into the contract; and <br />authorized the Director of Public Works to approve and execute contract change orders <br />for a contingency amount not to exceed $119,000 (20% of construction bid), if necessary, <br />for related subject project work. (SR 03:134) <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution No. 03-057, amending the Master Fee Resolution No. 92-100 to add <br />a fee for the storage of firearms that are subject to a protective order. (SR 03:131) <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution No. 03-058, authorizing an application with the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission for allocation of TDA funds for the annual sidewalk and <br />intersection ramp project.
