It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to approve the amended <br />Affordable Housing Agreement for the Busch property, to adopt Resolution No. 03-044, <br />approving the issuance by the City of revenue bonds for the Busch Gardens Senior <br />Apartments; to approve a fee waiver of $298,664 for the conversion of 51 market units to <br />51 below market units in the Busch Gardens Senior Apartments, and to approve a transfer <br />of $807,749 from the Lower Income Housing Fund to the Capital Improvement Fund (CIP) <br />to reimburse the fund for fee waivers; but deferring the decision on the transfer of credits <br />both on and off site for further discussion. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky indicated he preferred to see more apartments at below market rate rather <br />than for sale units. He felt there could be an advantage in transferring these housing credits for <br />apartments. <br /> <br />Item 6d <br />Approval of an Adjustment to the City's Lower-Income Housing Fee.
