MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON ~ITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />April 1, 2003 <br /> <br />6:00 P.M. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel regarding potential litigation against Signature <br />Properties concerning the Amended Cooperative Fee Agreement and the Pre-annexation <br />Agreement. <br /> Conference with legal counsel regarding claims and potential litigation <br />concerning the Ferma Corporation. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Tom Pico sent his congratulations to Councilmember Matt Campbell on <br />his recent marriage and wished him and his bride, Jennifer, much happiness and success. <br /> <br />2. ROLLCALL <br /> <br /> Deputy City Clerk Marsha Schmiegel called the roll, which is recorded as <br />follows: Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Steve Brozosky, Jennifer Hosterman, <br />and Mayor Tom Pico. Staff members present were: Deborah McKeehan, City Manager; <br />Michael Roush, City Attorney; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; Fire Chief Stewart Gary; Police Chief Timothy Neal; Jim Wolfe, Director <br />of Parks and Recreation; Jeff Knowles, Deputy Director of Public Works/Transportation; <br />Dave Iremonger, Finance Services Manager; Lisa Adamos, Economic Development <br />Specialist, and Mike Tassano, Assistant Traffic Engineer. Councilmember Matt <br />Campbell was absent and excused. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan requested that an item regarding the American Supporting <br />Americans (ASA) Adopt-A-Unit/Ship Program be added to the agenda. A staff report <br />has been prepared for this item which is a national program, with representatives to the <br />program present tonight.
