PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br />Item 4d <br /> Approval of Contract Amendments with Creegan + D'Angelo and David Evans & <br />Associates to provide additional engineering services for the Happy Valley Golf Course, <br />Project No. 968036. (SR 03:007) <br /> <br />Phil Grubstick presented the staffreport. <br /> <br />Mr. Campbell asked about the Department of Fish and Wildlife Service improvements. <br /> <br /> Mr. Crmbstick said the review of the plans brought about some modification of the plans <br />of the open space area and this amendment to the design contract allows for the revision of the <br />improvements. <br /> <br /> Vanessa Kawalhau, 871 Sycamore Road, asked if contract amendment per*ained to the <br />proposed cul de sac of Happy Valley Road. <br /> <br /> Mr. Grubstick said it did not include that. As the plans were presented to the County, the <br />County had some comments on existing culvert crossings of Alisal Street that it wanted revised <br />as part of our plans. We will be making those revisions. The County also wanted the sanitary <br />sewer lift station to be placed in a vault instead of above ground and therefore considerable <br />design changes are involved. <br /> <br /> Jerry Wagner, 6344 Alisal Street, asked about the items that the Council had listed on its <br />closed session for December 20, 2002. He wanted to know if the closed session item concerning <br />the Ferma Corporation concerned the flooding that had occurred following the heavy rains in <br />December.
