forward for approval is to allocate $10 million for Highway 84 improvements, and $45 million <br />for improvements to 1-580 corridor. <br /> <br />Ms. Michelotti said Highway 84 improvements had been highly recommended. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico acknowledged that but said the recommendation from all the other members <br />of the group was to spend the entire amount on 1-580. It was only after significant discussion <br />and negotiations that they were able to get $10 million for Highway 84 as an indication that the <br />region recognizes that Highway 84 is an issue as well as 1-580. He just wanted to let Council <br />know what happened and the action will be subject to ratification. <br /> <br />Ms. Michelotti asked who the other representatives were? <br /> <br /> Mayor Pieo said it was Alameda County Supervisor Scott Hag, getty, Pete Snyder <br />representing BART, Tom Vargas representing Livermore, George Zika representing Dublin, and <br />Mr. Pico representing Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Ms. Michelotfi thanked the Mayor for fighting for funds for Highway 84. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> <br />No action was required or taken. <br /> <br />9.
