CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-402 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br /> FOR PARADE PERMIT FOR ANNUAL HERITAGE DAYS PARADE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 1, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a report (SR 87:403) from the Assistant to the <br /> City Manager regarding an application from the Chamber <br /> of Commerce for a permit to hold the annual Heritage <br /> Days Parade on September 13, 1987; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has recommended that the City Council approve the <br /> application; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the application of the Chamber of Commerce <br /> and the Native Sons of the Golden West for a permit to <br /> hold the annual Heritage Days parade on Sunday, <br /> September 13, 1987, to be held in the City of Pleasanton <br /> as more particularly delineated in the report of the <br /> Assistant to the City Manager (sR 87:403), subject to <br /> all conditions set forth in that report. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The City budget for fiscal year 1987-88 is amended by <br /> allocating $775.00 necessary to pay for costs incurred <br /> for city personnel associated with the parade. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 1, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer ~ <br /> NOES: None =~ <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KENNETH R.
