<br />CALL TO ORDER
<br /> Vice Mayor Frank C. Brandes, Jr., called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the
<br />City Council to order at 7:00 P.M.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br /> The roll call is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor
<br />Brandes were present. Councilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer were absent. Mr. Walker,
<br />City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public Works and
<br />Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, Mr. Miller,
<br />Assistant to the City Manager, Mr. Eastman, Police Chief, Mr. Hill, Fire Chief, Mrs.
<br />Bengtson, Director of Recreation and Human Resources, Mrs. Wagner, Director of Finance,
<br />Mr. Stewart, Chief Building Inspector, Mr. Hallock, Superintent of Streets, Mr. Wilkins,
<br />Utilitie~ Superintendent, Mr. Stewart, Police Sergeant,and Mr. Okomura, Assistant
<br />City Englneer~ were present.
<br />BUDGET SESSION - Fiscal Year 1984-85 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program
<br /> The budget document was submitted by the City Manager and was reviewed in detail
<br />with each of the department heads and division chiefs responsible for their budget.
<br />
<br /> A public hearing was scheduled for June 26, 1984, 8:00 P.M., in the Pleasanton
<br />Council Chambers, to take public testimony relative to the 1984-85 operating budget
<br />and capital improvement program.
<br />
<br />No other action was taken regarding this item at the Study Session.
<br />
<br />EXECUTIVE SESSION
<br /> Vice Mayor Brandes recessed the meeting at 10:15 P.M., to an Executive Session to
<br />discuss pending litigation and labor relations.
<br />
<br />Vice Mayor Brandes reconvened the meeting at 10:30 P.M.
<br />
<br />APPROVAL OF PCEA MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that
<br />Resolution No. 84-263, approving the memorandum of understanding with the Pleasanton
<br />City Employees Association for the period March 1, 1984 through February 28, 1985,
<br />be adopted.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:
<br />AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Wood, and Vice Mayor Brandes
<br />NOES: None
<br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer
<br />
<br />ADJOURNMENT
<br /> There being no further business at 10:35 P.M., Vice Mayor Brandes adjourned the
<br />Adjourned Regular Meeting, to meet again in Regular Session on June 12, 1984, 8:00 P.M.,
<br />in the Pleasanton Council Chambers.
