MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />April 2, 2002 <br /> <br />1. CALLTO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico <br />at 7:02 p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Michelotti led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She <br />hoped those citizens who celebrated the recent religious holidays with their families had a <br />wonderful and safe holiday. She noted the outstanding number of applications received <br />for the below market homes that will be made available on the Bemal Property. This <br />indicates a real need in the community for a product of this type. Two Housing <br />Commission members are leaving their commission because they are moving to <br />Livermore. She wished them well and thanked Larry and Betty Levin for their service to <br />the community. <br /> <br />2. ROLLCALL <br /> <br /> Deputy City Clerk called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Matt Campbell, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, and Mayor <br />Tom Pico. Staff members present were Nelson Fialho, Deputy City Manager; Michael <br />Roush, City Attorney; Randy Lum, Director of Public Works; Brian Swift, Director of <br />Planning; Larissa Seto, Assistant City Attorney; and Dave Iremonger, Financial Services <br />Manager. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 7, Matters Initiated by Council, wilt be heard immediately following Item 4, <br />Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />Item 6d (2) will be reagendized and heard before Item 6d (1). <br /> <br /> Councilmember Michelotti requested that the approval of the minutes of <br />March 22, 2002 be removed from the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 04/02/02 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
