Mayor Pico stated that they try to provide every opportunity for the public to attend the <br />Council meetings and 7:00 p.m. works best. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti expressed concern about the cleanliness of the downtown sidewalks and <br />trash containers, especially on the southwest comer of Angela Street. <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan indicated staffhad discussed the particular location and indicated that is <br />an issue with the merchants because that is their private container. Staffwill work with them. <br />She also noted it is time for the regular steam cleaning of the sidewalks. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti also noted there were problems with animal deposits. <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan indicated the Downtown Association has been very helpful in working <br />with the merchants and businesses regarding the cleanliness. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti relayed comments about how beautiful the planters look and repeated her <br />long held desire to have hanging baskets of flowers along Main Street. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> <br />No actions was required or taken. <br /> <br />9. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Council adjourned to a closed session at 11:50 p.m. to discuss the following topics: <br /> Conference with legal counsel regarding potential litigation concerning firearm <br />ordinance. <br /> Conference with Labor Negotiator Deborah McKeehan regarding the Pleasanton city <br />Employees Association and the Management Pay and Performance Plan. <br /> Conference with legal counsel regarding potential litigation with the City and county of <br />San Francisco and Bruce Lymbum concerning Pleasanton's acquisition of the three acre Civic <br />Center parcel. <br /> <br />10.
