Item 6d <br />PRZ-11, City of Pleasanton. <br />Proposal to amend Chapter 18.44 (C-Commercial Districts) and Table 18.44.090 <br /> <br />(Permitted and conditional Uses) of Title 18 (Zoning) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to <br />allow tutoring for up to six students as a permitted use in the CN (Neighborhood <br />Commercial) District. (SR 02:042) <br /> <br />Also consider a negative declaration prepared for the application. <br /> <br />Brian Swit~ presented the staffreport. <br /> <br />Mayor Pico declare thc public heating open. <br /> <br /> Bill Howell, 6651 Alisal Street, believed that every child is different and the public <br />school system is not working for some students. He encouraged Council to provide the <br />flexibility to provide alternatives in education. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt Resolution No. 02- <br />025, approving a de minimis negative declaration. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotfi, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to introduce Ordinance No. <br />1850, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, amending Chapter 18.44 <br />of the Pleasanton Municipal code to permit tutoring for six or fewer students in the CN <br />(Neighborhood Commercial) District. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTA1N: None <br /> <br />7.
