5:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />September 4, 2001 <br /> <br />JOINT CLOSED SESSION WITH BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel regarding anticipated litigation. The Board and City <br />Council discussed potential litigation (either as plaintiff or defendant) pursuant to Government <br />Codes 54956.9(b) and 54956.9(c) for two cases concerning the School Impact Fee Agreements. <br /> <br />6:30 P.M. CLOSED SESSION (CITY COUNCIL ONLY- Held at 8:00 p.m.) <br /> <br /> Conference with real property negotiator Deborah McKeehan regarding consideration of <br />options to potentially obtain 3231 Vineyard Avenue, 3263 Vineyard Avenue, 4202 Stanley <br />Boulevard, and/or 735 Rose Avenue (mobile home parks). <br /> <br /> Conference with Labor Negotiator Deborah McKeehan regarding <br />Management/Confidential Compensation Plan. <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel regarding pending litigation (City of Pleasanton v. <br />Wagner). <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel regarding anticipated litigation. The City Council <br />discussed potential litigation (either as plaintiff or defendant) pursuant to Government Codes <br />54956.9(b) and 54956.9(c) for two cases concerning the School Impact Fee Agreements. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico at 7:07 <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance. She referred to the new <br />brochure published by the Civic Arts Commission highlighting the 2001-02 season. She praised <br />it highly and urged everyone to sign up for at least one event, if not more. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico also commended the publication and asked Mr. Wolfe to explain the <br />programs further. <br /> <br />Ms. McKeehan pointed out the family focus of the events. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council I 09/04/01 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
