MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CH'Y COUNCIL <br /> <br />May 2,2000 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tarver at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br /> Cmmcilmember Miehelotti led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She <br />expressed her appreciation fur the individuals who had served on commissions or <br />cmranillees and welcomed the newly appointed members. She indicated the community <br />is blessed because of so many people willing to serve on commissions and committees. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded a~s follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Shagell Michelotti, and Mayor <br />Ben Tarver. Staff members present were Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael <br />Roush, City Attorney; l.arissa Seto~ Assistant City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of <br />Planning and Community Development; Randall A. Lure, Dkeetor of Public Works; Bill <br />van Gelder, Traffic Engineer; and James W. Wolfe, Director of Parks and Con~munity <br />Services. <br /> <br />Councilmember Thomas P. Pico, Jr. was absent and excused. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 6d, Approval of Alameda County 20-Year Transportation Expenditure Plan <br />and reconunendation to the Board of Supervisors to place an extension of the sales tax on <br />the November 2000 ballot, were continued to June 6, 2000. <br /> <br />4.
