ROLLCALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro introduced Sandra Oldaker who called the roll, which is <br />as follows: Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell <br />Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were <br />Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director <br />of Planning and Community Development; Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works; <br />and James W. Wolfe, Director of Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 6b? PAP-07 (PUD-98-07)~ Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation, was <br />continued to the next meeting on March 21, 2000. <br /> <br />Students asked questions about several items on the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Whelan for Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. <br />Richardson for Ms. Ayala, that the following actions be taken on the Consent <br />Calendar: <br /> <br />a. Approve the City Council Minutes for 2/15/00. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim March 12-18, 2000 as Portuguese Immigrant Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Approve monthly disbursements, investment report, and COPS AB 3229 <br />Expenditure Reports for January 2000. (SR 00:0058) <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution No. 00-015, granting an easement to Pacific Gas and Electric <br />across the driveway to Saint Marys Street within the City's Central Business <br />District parking lot on Peters Avenue for installation of an electrical service line; <br />and authorize the City Manager to execute the grant of easement document, which <br />restricts the use of the easement to the one electric service line. (SR 00:040) <br /> <br />Mayor Tarver asked if the easement was restricted in terms of what is put in the <br />ground. Is this to be the standard to be used in the future for similar easements. <br /> <br />Will Kearl responded that the easement was limited to serve only one property <br />and this will be the standard in the future. <br /> <br />Approve the contract with Belden, Inc. to provide necessary design services for <br />replacement lighting for Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park Softball Complex, <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 2 03/07/00 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
