MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL February 15, 2000 6:00 P.M. CLOSED SESSION A closed session was held to confer with Real Property Negotiator Deborah Acosta regarding potential sale of property to the Pleasanton Unified School District (portion of the Bemal Avenue property); and to confer with legal counsel to discuss potential litigation concerning groundwater rights and related issues. 1. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tarver at 7:12 p.m. Ms. Michelotti led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She pointed out that there is now a U.S. mail box in front of the library. Mayor Tarver announced that Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher would be at the Farmers Market along with Councilmembers on Saturday, February 19, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and encouraged citizens to come meet her and the Councilmembers. 2. ROLL CALL City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is as follows: Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Sharrell Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works; Susan Rossi, Director of Finance; Wayne Rasmussen, Principal Planner; and James W. Wolfe, Director of Parks and Community Services. Councilmember Becky Dennis was absent and excused. 3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Item 4c, Approval of Interim Treated Water Supply Agreement with Zone 7, and Item 4d, Approval of granting of an easement to PG&E through the City' s Central Business District parking lot on Peters Avenue, were continued to the next meeting on March 7, 2000.
