Downtown members always get first choice, but if they don't sponsor all <br />events, then it is opened to other businesses for sponsorship. We can't operate out of fear <br />the rest of the outside world will hurt downtown. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis indicated she has seen a tremendous change in downtown over the <br />last couple of years. It has become the community's living room where people gather. <br />She agreed with allowing other business sponsorships. She felt there could be concerts <br />on Friday and Sunday if there were enough sponsors. <br /> <br /> Mr. Scharton said that was possible and suggested perhaps having drama on <br />Sunday and concerts on Friday.
