She strongly believed that the 25% open <br />space from this development is not just for the neighborhoods around the development. <br />It is for all of the people and she wanted the option for the path to stay. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Tarver, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to approve items 4d <br />through 4i. <br /> <br /> A substitute motion was made by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to <br />approve items 4d through 4I and removing the annexation condition on the New <br />Cities application. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico preferred to vote on these items separately. He wanted to reconsider his <br />vote on New Cities. The lateness of the hour affected his vote along with the desire to <br />reach some kind of conclusion. Mr. Hovingh was right, he does have strong feelings <br />about the environmental impact of this project and he would not support item 4d. <br /> <br />The roll call vote on the substitute motion was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis and Michelotti <br />NOES: Councilmembers Ayala, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAiN.
